Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, has announced faculty recruitment for the year 2025. This walk-in interview is for the position of Assistant Professor (On Contract) in the field of Computer Science across various specialized departments.

Qualifications

1. Computer Science (Data Science)

• B.E/B.Tech & M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Cyber Security
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science/Cyber Security/MCA with UGC NET/SLET
• Ph.D. in relevant fields from recognized universities.

2. Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

• Master’s degree (M.Sc., M.C.A.) and UGC NET/SLET/CSIR NET or equivalent
• M.Sc., M.C.A., or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc., and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology

3. Computer Science (Cyber Security)

• B.E/B.Tech & M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science/Cyber Security
• Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Data Science/Cyber Security/MCA with UGC NET/SLET
• Ph.D. in the relevant fields from recognized institutions.

Eligibility

Candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant/allied subject from an accredited Indian or foreign university.
• Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or similar tests like SLET/SET, or have a Ph.D. degree.
• A Ph.D. degree from universities ranked in the top 500 in global university rankings (QS, THE, ARWU).

Note: Candidates must submit their applications with necessary enclosures during the walk-in interview.

Pay Scale

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 52,000/- per month. No additional allowances.

Other Terms and Conditions

• Selected candidates will be appointed for a temporary period of 11 months or till the end of the 2024-25 academic year.
• No claims for permanent positions or contract extensions.
• TA/DA will not be provided for attending the interview.
• Accommodation is not available on campus.
