Qualification Requirements:

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

1. Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant/allied subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
2. Eligibility Tests: Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a similar accredited test like SET.
3. Candidates with a Ph.D. are exempt from NET/SET if they meet specific conditions.
4. Ph.D. Exemptions (As per UGC guidelines): Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
5. Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
6. Open viva voce conducted.
7. Two research papers published (one in a refereed journal).
8. Two papers presented at UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-sponsored conferences.
9. Foreign University Ph.D.: Ph.D. obtained from a university ranked in the top 500 in World University Rankings by QS, THE, or ARWU.
