Qualifications

1. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
2. Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC or CSIR, or hold a similar certification (SET), or possess a Ph.D. according to the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) criteria, which may exempt them from NET/SET.Additional Ph.D. Conditions for Exemption (if registered before July 11, 2009):Ph.D. awarded in regular mode only.
3. Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
4. Completed an open Ph.D. viva voce.
5. Published two research papers, one of which should be in a refereed journal.
6. Presented at least two papers in conferences or seminars sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, CSIR, or similar bodies.
