Matrubhoomi Mahavidyalaya, Latur has announced its faculty recruitment 2024 for permanent teaching positions in colleges. Eligible candidates can apply for Assistant Professor jobs in the following departments:

Vacancy Details:

  • Job Title: Assistant Professor (Permanent Non-Grant)
  • Department: Computer Science

Qualification Criteria:

Eligibility (A or B):

A.

  1. A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  2. Additionally, candidates must clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC/CSIR or equivalent tests. Candidates with a Ph.D. are exempted from NET/SET if they meet the following criteria:
    • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
    • Ph.D. thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
    • Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
    • Published two research papers, one in a refereed journal.
    • Presented two papers based on Ph.D. work in UGC/CSIR/ICSSR-sponsored conferences.
    Note:
    • These conditions must be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs).
    • NET/SET is not required for disciplines without these tests, but a Ph.D. is mandatory for teaching positions in such colleges.

B.
Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU are eligible.

  • Completed PG/Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commitment to work.
