Qualifications
- Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian or foreign university.
- NET/SET Qualification: Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent accredited test.
- Ph.D. Holders: Candidates with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SET. Conditions include:
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Thesis is evaluated by at least two examiners
- Successful completion of viva voce
- Publication of at least two research papers (one in a refereed journal)
- Presentation of two papers at conferences/seminars
- Foreign University Ph.D.: Ph.D. from a university ranked among the top 500 globally as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings.
