Job Description

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Punjab has issued a corrigendum regarding the walk-in interview advertisement No. 03/2025 for filling various posts on a tenure basis. Due to administrative reasons, some amendments have been made to the originally published notification. Please refer to the updated details below.

Post Updates

The following amendments apply to the previously advertised recruitment:

1. Assistant Professor (Nuclear Physics) – 01 Position (UR-01)

Qualifications Required:

  • A good academic record as defined by the University, with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & visually handicapped) or an equivalent grade, wherever a grading system is followed, in a Master’s degree in Medical Physics/Physics (M.Sc. degree in Physics with specialization in Nuclear Physics or Radiation Physics) from an Indian University or an equivalent accredited foreign University.
  • In addition to the above qualifications, candidates must have either cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or should have obtained a Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Physics.
  • Note: NET is not required for disciplines where it is not conducted.

2. Assistant Professor (Pediatrics) – 03 Positions

  • UR-01, SC (M/B)-01, SC (R/O)-01
  • Qualifications as per NMC.
