Job Description

NOTICE

Walk-in-interview for the appointment of Assistant Professor on a Guest Basis in the following departments/subjects are scheduled as per the given table:

  • 1 — Music — 28.02.2025 — 9:30 am — Principal’s Office — 1-UR (Leave Vacancy)
  • 2 — Environmental Studies (EVS) — 28.02.2025 — 12:00 pm — Principal’s Office — 1-UR

Bhagini Nivedita College Guest Faculty Vacancy in Music and EVS

Important Note(s):

  1. The qualifications for Guest Faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for regular Assistant Professors of Universities/Colleges in UGC Regulations.
  2. The Guest Faculty will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
  3. Superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
  4. Guest Faculty will not be given allowances, pension, gratuity, and leave benefits as admissible to regular teachers.
  5. The candidate should not hold any other teaching assignment.
  6. The College reserves the right to change the number and/or nature of the post and/or not to fill any or all the posts advertised without assigning any reason.
  7. All candidates are required to carry their C.V. along with other testimonials/publications, etc.
  8. Candidates are required to report to the college half an hour before the scheduled interview time. Late reporting will not be entertained.
  9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  10. Any addendum/corrigendum, if applicable, will be published on the College website. Candidates are required to visit the website regularly.
