Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

• For Computer Science (MCA):
  • B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
  • OR B.E., B.Tech., and MCA with First Class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees.
  • OR Graduation with Mathematics and MCA with First Class or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience post-MCA.
• For Education:
  • Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET), CSIR-NET, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC like SET, or have a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations 2009 or 2016, exempting them from NET/SET.

Additional conditions apply to candidates with Ph.D. degrees, including:

• Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
• Ph.D. thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
• Two research papers were published from the Ph.D. work, with one in a refereed journal.
• Two papers presented at conferences sponsored by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies.

For foreign Ph.D. holders, the degree must be from a university ranked within the top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU.

Pay Scale:

• Rs. 40,000/- for candidates with UGC/CSIR-NET.
• Rs. 45,000/- for candidates with UGC/CSIR-NET and Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
