Job Description

Applications are invited for the Assistant Professor (on Contract) post in the Department of Computer Science, Cochin University of Science and Technology. Here are the details:

No. of Vacancies: 3

Essential Qualification:

  1. M.Tech Degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science & Analytics OR Master’s Degree in Computer Applications OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/ Data Science or an equivalent Degree with 55% marks from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent Degree from an accredited foreign University.
  2. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or the CSIR. Ph.D. degree holders may be exempted from NET as per the UGC Regulations 2018.
  3. Other eligibility conditions as per UGC Regulations 2018

Salary per month:

  • For Ph.D holder – ₹ 42,000/-
  • For the rest of the contract teachers: ₹40,000/-
