Eligibility Criteria

Professor

Candidates must meet either of the following:

• Option A:
  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience at university/national level with evidence of doctoral guidance.
  • A total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria.
• Option B:
  • A Ph.D. holder from academic institutions or industry with significant contributions and 10 years experience.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least 8 years of teaching/research experience with 7 publications and a research score of 75 as per UGC norms.

Assistant Professor

Either option applies:

• Option A:
  • Master’s degree with a minimum 55% marks in relevant subjects.
  • NET/ SLET/ SET qualification or exemption as per UGC rules.
  • Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009, with specific research and publication criteria are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• Option B:
  • Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 worldwide by QS, THE, or ARWU rankings.
