Educational Qualifications and Experience

1. Assistant Professor Grade I

• Pay Level: Level-12 (₹101,500/month) + allowances as per GoI norms
• Essential Qualifications:
  • FPM or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
  • First class or equivalent in the preceding degree with a strong academic record
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience (excluding time spent on FPM/Ph.D.)
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching at IITs/IIMs
  • Track record of research, teaching, and publication in reputed journals
  • Ph.D. from premier foreign universities
• Age Limit: Preferably up to 35 years

2. Assistant Professor Grade II (On Contract)

• Essential Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Track record of research, teaching, and publications in reputed journals
• Age Limit: Preferably up to 35 years
  Note: Candidates awaiting Ph.D. defense can apply but must complete the process before appointment.

3. Associate Professor

• Pay Level: Level-13 A2 (₹139,600/month) + allowances as per GoI norms
• Essential Qualifications:
  • FPM or Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree
  • Minimum 6 years of teaching/industry/research experience (3 years at Assistant Professor Grade I level)
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Leadership in research, guiding Ph.D. students, publications in ABDC-ranked journals, and academic/professional contributions

4. Professor

• Pay Level: Level-14A (₹159,100/month) + allowances as per GoI norms
• Essential Qualifications:
  • FPM or Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching/industry/research experience (4 years at Associate Professor level)
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Extensive leadership in research, publications, patents, and guiding Ph.D. students
