Ahilyadevi Mahavidyalaya, Latur: Faculty Recruitment for Assistant Professor Positions

Ahilyadevi Mahavidyalaya Arts, Science, and Commerce College, Latur, has announced faculty recruitment for 2024, inviting applications for Assistant Professor teaching positions for the academic year 2024-2025. Qualifications Required:

  • A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar accredited test such as SET.
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009/2016) are exempted from the NET/SET requirement if they fulfill specific conditions:
    • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
    • Ph.D. thesis evaluated by at least two examiners.
    • Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
    • At least two research papers published, one in a refereed journal.
    • Two papers presented at UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-funded conferences.
  • Candidates with a foreign Ph.D. from universities ranked among the top 500 globally (QS, THE, ARWU) are also eligible.

Candidate Profile:

  • UG/PG in the relevant discipline with strong academic records.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
  • Strong research background.
