Qualifications and Experience
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 48 years.
- Qualifications: Refer to branch-wise details. If a Class/Division is not awarded, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class/Division.
Grade Point Conversion:
- 6.25 = 55%
- 6.75 = 60%
- 7.25 = 65%
- 7.75 = 70%
- 8.25 = 75%

- Pay Level: 13A1 (₹ 131,400 – 204,700)

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
- Master’s Degree in any branch of Psychology with First Class or equivalent grade.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC.
Essential Qualifications for Assistant Professor
- Ph.D. in Psychology (or related fields) is desirable.
- Experience in educational psychology and pedagogy, curriculum design, and development of instructional materials is an asset.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct educational and training programs in Psychology.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Conduct group counseling sessions.
- Supervise laboratory courses and maintain equipment.
