Qualifications Required

Fashion Design Department

• Junior Faculty / Faculty / Senior Faculty Grade II:
  Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years after graduation) in any of the following with at least 55% marks:
  • Fashion Design
  • Apparel Design
  • Lifestyle Accessory Design
  • Knitwear Design
  • Leather Design
  • Textile Design
  • Fashion Management or equivalent
• Senior Faculty Grade I:
  • Ph.D. in Fashion/Design/Craft
  • Master’s Degree as mentioned above with minimum 55% marks
• Chief Faculty:
  • Ph.D. in Fashion/Design/Craft
  • Master’s Degree as mentioned above with minimum 55% marks

School of Footwear Design & Production

• Junior Faculty / Faculty / Senior Faculty Grade II / Senior Faculty Grade I / Chief Faculty:
  Candidates must have either:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years duration after graduation) in any field with at least 55% marks, plus a minimum 1-year Diploma in Footwear Design/Manufacturing, Product Design, Accessories Design, Fashion Design, etc.
     OR
  2. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree directly in Footwear Technology, Footwear Design, Product Design, Accessories Design, or Fashion Design with minimum 55% marks
