Eligibility Criteria
Professor of Law
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option A
- Ph.D. in International Trade Law or Maritime Law (principal or allied subject).
- At least 10 years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of 120 (as per UGC Regulations, 2018).
Option B
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline with significant contributions to knowledge.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in academic institutions or industry.
Associate Professor of Law
- Ph.D. in International Trade Law or Maritime Law.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- 8 years of teaching or research experience.
- Minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Research score of 75.
Assistant Professor of Law
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Option A
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in International Trade Law or Maritime Law.
- Cleared NET/SLET/SET or exempted through Ph.D. qualifications per UGC regulations.
Option B
- Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in global rankings (QS, THE, ARWU).
Candidate Profile
- Completed PG/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to work.
