Rukmani Ammal Educational Trust, established in 1994 at Sembodai, Nagapattinam District, is dedicated to uplifting economically and socially backward communities by providing quality education.

Sembodai R.V. Arts and Science College, founded in 2020 by Philanthropist Rtn. Dr. R. Varatharajan, M.Com, M.Ed., D.Lit., fulfills his vision of offering higher education in rural areas. The college is located amid the scenic beauty of Sembodai, around 10 km from Vedaranyam and 40 km from Nagapattinam, along the Vailankanni–Vedaranyam Road.

Vacant Positions and Eligibility

1. Head of the Department (HOD)

Departments:

• Computer Science
• Physical Director (Woman)

Qualification:
M.Sc. / B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D., or S.E.T./N.E.T. with first class in the relevant discipline.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with a strong academic record.

2. Assistant Professor

Departments:

• Tamil
• English
• Business Administration
• Chemistry
• Computer Science
• Commerce
• Mathematics
• Physics

Qualification:
M.A. / M.Sc. / M.B.A. / M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D., or S.E.T./N.E.T. with first class in the appropriate branch.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with good academic performance.

3. Librarian

Qualification:
MLISc., M.Phil., Ph.D., or S.E.T./N.E.T. with first class in the relevant subject.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience with an excellent academic record.

Pay Scale

• Salary will be commensurate with merit, qualification, and experience.
