Educational Qualifications & Experience

Assistant Professor Grade-II (on Contract)

• Level 10: Ph.D.
• Level 11: Ph.D. with 1 year post-Ph.D. experience

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Ph.D. with 3 years post-Ph.D. experience OR
• 6 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period) after a Master’s degree (M.Tech. or equivalent)

Associate Professor

• 6 years post-Ph.D. experience OR
• 9 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period), including:
  • 3 years post-Ph.D. at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of ₹8,000/Level-12 or equivalent in a reputed Institute/University/R&D Lab or Industry

Pay Scale

• Assistant Professor Grade-II (Level-10): ₹70,900 – ₹98,200
• Assistant Professor Grade-II (Level-11): ₹71,000 – ₹1,17,200
• Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level-12): ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400
• Associate Professor (Level-13A2): ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300
