IIM Shillong Teaching Associate & Medical Officer Positions – Deadline 23rd March

Job Description

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong is inviting applications for recruitment for the following research associate, teaching associate, and a part-time medical officer role.

1. Research Associate / Teaching Associate Recruitment

Position Details:

• Position: Research Associate / Teaching Associate
• Remuneration:
  • ₹35,000 per month (for Postgraduates)
  • ₹45,000 per month (for Ph.D. holders)
• Tenure: 1 year (extendable at the discretion of the competent authority)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree/Professional qualification in a relevant field with at least 55% aggregate.
  • Research experience preferred.
• Desirable:
  • Ph.D. holders will be given preference.
  • Experience in survey research, data analysis, report writing, and qualitative research (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
• Age Limit: Preferably below 30 years as of the last date.

Work Responsibilities:

• Conducting research, supervising teams, and writing reports.
• Securing research funds and participants.
• Supporting faculty with teaching responsibilities such as discussions, grading, and feedback.
• Other tasks assigned by the Institute.

2. Part-Time Medical Officer Recruitment

Position Details:

• Position: Part-Time Medical Officer
• Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month (consolidated)
• Tenure: 1 year (contract basis)
• Work Hours: Monday to Saturday, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM at both Umsawli & Nongthymmai campuses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: MBBS / MD from a recognized university.
• Experience: At least 5 years (preferably in academic institutions).
