Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Jobs

Candidates applying must meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:

Assistant Professor (Grade I and II)

• Grade I: Minimum of 3 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.
• Grade II: Candidates with fewer years of experience may be appointed at Grade II with the potential to transition to Grade I once experience criteria are met.

Associate Professor

• Minimum of 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, including at least 3 years as Assistant Professor Grade I.

Professor

• A minimum of 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years at the Associate Professor level.

Special Qualification for IDC School of Design:

• A postgraduate degree or diploma in Design/Arts/Applied Arts, or a postgraduate degree in Engineering/Architecture/Humanities is required for Assistant Professor Grade I.
