Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree.
- Specialization in relevant areas with a strong academic record.
- Effective communication skills and commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Proven ability to conduct original and creative research.
Experience
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum three years of industrial/research/teaching experience (Ph.D. duration excluded).
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: For candidates with less than three years of experience post-Ph.D.

Salary Details
Assistant Professor Grade-I
- Pay Scale: ₹1,01,500-₹1,67,400 (7th CPC Pay Level 12).
- Probation: One year, with potential progression to Pay Level-13A1 (₹1,31,400-₹2,04,700) after three years.
Assistant Professor Grade-II
- Pay Scale: ₹57,700-₹98,200 (7th CPC Pay Level 10).
- Progression: After one year of experience, moves to Pay Level-11. Further advancement depends on meeting experience requirements.
