Qualifications for IIT Palakkad Faculty Recruitment 2024:

• Educational Requirement: Ph.D. in the relevant field with a first-class or equivalent record at the preceding degree level.
• Experience Requirements:
  • Professor: Minimum of 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years as an Associate Professor or equivalent. A strong record in student mentorship, research publications, and funded research projects is required.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum of 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 3 years as an Assistant Professor (Grade I). A demonstrated record in student guidance, peer-reviewed publications, and research/consultancy projects is essential.
  • Assistant Professor Grade I: At least 3 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry (excluding Ph.D. duration).
  • Assistant Professor Grade II: For candidates with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

    • Level 10: ₹57,700 – ₹98,200
    • Level 11: ₹68,900 – ₹1,17,200
    • Level 12: ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400
  • Associate Professor: Level 13A2: ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300
  • Professor: Level 14A: ₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200
