About IIIT Kota
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota (IIIT Kota) is an Institute of National Importance established in 2013. It operates as a joint venture between the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, Government of Rajasthan, and Industry Partners under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode. Currently, IIIT Kota is mentored by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur and is located at MNIT Jaipur. The permanent campus of IIIT Kota is under construction at Ranpur near Kota on 100.37 acres of land provided by the Government of Rajasthan.

Eligibility Criteria
Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period)
- 07 years must be post-Ph.D., with at least 03 years at the Associate Professor level in a reputed institution.
Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- 06 years after Ph.D. or 09 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period)
- 03 years at the Assistant Professor level with an AGP of 8000/- or equivalent in a reputed university, R&D Lab, or industry.
Assistant Professor Grade-I
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- 03 years after a Ph.D. or 06 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrollment period) after obtaining an M.Tech degree.
Assistant Professor Grade-II
- Qualification: Ph.D.
- Experience:
- Grade-II (Level 11): 1 year of experience
- Grade-II (Level 10): No prior experience required
