Departments with Faculty Vacancy:

• Guest Faculty for teaching Computer Engineering

Qualification:

• B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

Important Notes:

1. Submit the prescribed application form to the concerned Department/Centre, JMI.
2. No application fee is required.
3. The Department/Centre will screen applications and call candidates for interviews.
4. Engagement of Guest Faculty will start from the date of taking classes, valid for the Academic Session 2024-25 or until further orders.
5. Selection does not guarantee a permanent appointment.
6. Submit a separate application for each post.
7. Relaxation, if any, will be as per UGC guidelines.
8. The number of positions may vary.
9. Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. The University reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for interviews.
10. Eligibility will be determined as of the last date of application submission.
11. Jamia reserves the right to set uniform criteria for short-listing candidates and may give preference to those with higher qualifications.

Pay Scale:

• Guest Faculty will receive an honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The workload will be equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor (contractual).
