Previously known as Bihar College of Engineering, it has a legacy dating back to 1886, starting as a Pleaders Survey Training School and later evolving into a prestigious engineering college in 1924.

Job Title:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Department:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

Project Title:

• Design and Development of Audio Sensor and Data Acquisition Systems for the consortium project: “ML-Enabled RISC-V-based i-LoRa SOC for Forest Event Monitoring.”

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• For JRF: B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a valid GATE score.
• OR
• M.E./M.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks in Electronics and Communication Engineering, VLSI, Embedded System, Microelectronics, or Electronics System, and GATE qualified.

Fellowship:

• Rs. 37,000 + HRA @ 16% per month (JRF)
• Rs. 42,000 + HRA @ 16% per month (SRF after promotion)

Duration:

• 2 years as JRF, followed by promotion to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the remainder of the project.
