Position Overview

The Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor will play a crucial role in teaching, research, and service within the Department of Pharmacy, specifically in Pharmacology. This role includes delivering educational content, conducting relevant research, and providing departmental service.

Department: Pharmacy – Pharmacology

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

• Instruct students in Pharmacy across various academic levels.
• Develop and maintain course materials and curriculums.
• Assess students’ assignments and performance.

Research

• Conduct research in Pharmacy with the goal of publishing in reputable journals.
• Pursue external funding to support research activities.

Mentorship

• Offer academic and career mentorship to students.
• Supervise student projects and research efforts.

Service

• Participate in departmental and university service, including committee involvement.
• Engage with industry and community stakeholders to foster collaborative initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in research and teaching.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• A proven record of publications in academic journals.
• Experience in obtaining research funding.
• Relevant industry experience in Pharmacy.
