A.A.N.M & V.V.R.S.R. Polytechnic was established in Gudlavalleru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, through G.O M.S.No: 620 dated 28-08-1981 under the LEN & TE(TE1) Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The institution was inaugurated on 13th November 1981 by the then Chairman of Zilla Parishad, Krishna District, Sri. Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao.
The Polytechnic is approved by AICTE (Memo No: LR No.F.24-63/B III/RC(MB)/89/15916, dated 31-01-1994). Initially, it began with 180 intakes across three departments: LCE, LME, and LECE.
