Non-Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2024: Library Trainee Positions Available

The Central University of Odisha (CUO) is seeking qualified candidates for Library Trainee roles for the academic year 2024.   • Library Trainee

Employment Type:

  • Temporary

Qualifications:

  • Required: Master’s in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent from a recognized university/institute with first-class and a consistently good academic record.
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of Computers, IT, and digital applications in Libraries.
    • Proficiency in communication in both English and Hindi.

Candidate Profile:

  • A UG/PG degree in the relevant discipline with strong academic records.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for guiding students and contributing to the university’s academic environment.
  • A solid research background is advantageous.

Job Location:

  • Koraput, Odisha

Pay Scale:

  • ₹ 20,000.00 per month

Mode of Selection:

  • The University reserves the right to conduct a written test or set criteria to limit the number of candidates for interviews.

  • Date: 30th September 2024, 09:30 A.M.
  • Venue: Conference Room, Sunabeda Campus, Central University of Odisha, Koraput.

Important Notes:

  • Selected candidates are expected to work six days a week and may be required to work on shifts.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Positions are purely contractual and temporary, with no right to permanent employment at CUO.
  • The university reserves the right to end the engagement without notice.
