Qualifications

Professor

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline with strong academic and research credentials.
• Minimum of 10 publications in UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience.
• Total research score of 120 (UGC criteria).
• Must meet API score requirements (PBAS of UGC).

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Total research score of 75 (UGC criteria).
• Must meet API score requirements (PBAS of UGC).

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
• Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC norms (2009/2016 Regulations).
• Candidates with Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, must meet specific conditions:
  • Ph.D. in regular mode
  • Evaluation by two external examiners
  • Open viva voce conducted
  • Two research publications (one in a refereed journal)
  • Two paper presentations in recognized conferences
