Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Professor / Librarian / Physical Education Director: A. Academic Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
• Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or a similar test accredited by UGC, such as SET. Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. degree in compliance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for the Award of M.Phil/Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009, or subsequent amendments may be exempted from NET/SET.

B. Ph.D. Exemption Conditions:

• The Ph.D. program must have been completed in regular mode.
• The thesis must be evaluated by at least two external examiners.
• An open viva voce must have been conducted.
• The candidate must have published at least two research papers in referred journals.
• Candidates must present two conference papers based on their Ph.D. work.

C. Foreign University Candidates:

• Ph.D. obtained from universities ranked among the top 500 by recognized ranking organizations like QS, THE, or ARWU is also acceptable.

• Pay scale as per UGC, State Government, and Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded rules.
