Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. NET/SET Requirement: Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC or CSIR, or similar accredited exams. Alternatively: Candidates with a Ph.D. under UGC’s 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SET if they meet specific conditions: Ph.D. awarded in regular mode only.
3. Ph.D. thesis evaluated by two examiners.
4. Completion of an open Ph.D. viva voce.
5. Two published research papers from Ph.D. work, with at least one in a refereed journal.
6. Two conference or seminar presentations based on Ph.D. work, funded by recognized bodies (UGC/ICSSR/CSIR).

OR

• Candidates holding a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally (QS, THE, or ARWU rankings).

• Education: UG/PG in the relevant discipline.
• Skills: Strong academic background, excellent communication, passion for teaching, and a solid research record.

Pay Scale

Remuneration as per UGC and State Government norms.
