Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. NET/SET Requirement: Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC or CSIR, or similar accredited exams. Alternatively:
   • Candidates with a Ph.D. under UGC’s 2009/2016 regulations are exempted from NET/SET if they meet specific conditions:
     • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode only.
     • Ph.D. thesis evaluated by two examiners.
     • Completion of an open Ph.D. viva voce.
     • Two published research papers from Ph.D. work, with at least one in a refereed journal.
     • Two conference or seminar presentations based on Ph.D. work, funded by recognized bodies (UGC/ICSSR/CSIR).

OR

• Candidates holding a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally (QS, THE, or ARWU rankings).

Candidate Profile

• Education: UG/PG in the relevant discipline.
• Skills: Strong academic background, excellent communication, passion for teaching, and a solid research record.

Pay Scale

Remuneration as per UGC and State Government norms.
