Qualifications for MGM University Recruitment:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
• Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent, OR
  • Candidates with a Ph.D. are exempted from NET/SET requirements if:
    • The Ph.D. was awarded in regular mode.
    • The thesis was evaluated by at least two examiners.
    • An open Ph.D. viva voce was conducted.
    • At least two research papers from the Ph.D. work are published (one in a refereed journal).
    • At least two conference papers were presented based on Ph.D. work.
• Note: NET/SET is not required for Master’s programs in disciplines where it is not conducted by UGC/CSIR.

Additional Criteria for Ph.D. Degrees from Foreign Universities:

• The degree must be from a university ranked in the top 500 by:
  • Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
  • Times Higher Education (THE)
  • Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
