Professor:

  • Qualification: Ph.D.
  • Experience: 10 years after Ph.D. or 13 years total, with at least 3 years at Associate Professor level.

Associate Professor:

  • Qualification: Ph.D.
  • Experience: 6 years post-Ph.D. or 9 years total working experience, including at least 3 years at Assistant Professor Grade-I level.

Assistant Professor (Grade – I):

  • Qualification: Ph.D.
  • Experience: 3 years after Ph.D. or 6 years in teaching/research.

Assistant Professor (Grade – II):

  • Qualification: Ph.D.

Pay Scale (As per 7th CPC)

  • Professor: Pay Level 14A
  • Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2
  • Assistant Professor (Grade – I): Pay Level 12
  • Assistant Professor (Grade – II): Pay Level 10
