About the Institution

Established on 18th August 2010, NIT Arunachal Pradesh is one of the ten new NITs set up by the Government of India as part of its mission to strengthen technical education. Initially mentored by NIT Durgapur, the institute started functioning independently under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Tilak Bhunia from 1st November 2011.

Job Title:

Non-Teaching Faculty (Direct Recruitment/Deputation)

Departments and Qualifications

1. Registrar

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’ on the UGC 7-point scale from a recognized university/institute.

2. Executive Engineer (Civil)

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with First Class or equivalent CGPA/UGC grade and a good academic record.
  OR
• Internal candidates with:
  • At least 5 years regular service as Assistant Engineer (SG II) (PB–2, GP Rs. 4800/-)
  • Or 2 years regular service as Assistant Engineer (SG–I) (PB–2, GP Rs. 5400/-)

3. Medical Officer (Allopathy)

• MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
• Must be registered in a State/Indian Medical Register

Pay Scale

• Registrar: PB 4; Pay Level 14
• Executive Engineer (Civil): PB 3; Pay Level 10
• Medical Officer (Allopathy): PB 3; Pay Level 10 + NPA as per Government norms
