National Institute of Technology, Calicut – Faculty Recruitment for Project Fellow / Junior Research Fellow

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut, is inviting applications for the position of Project Fellow / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Faculty Recruitment initiative. Research Position:

  • Position Title: Project Fellow / Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • Project Title: “Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and Related Technology)”
  • Sponsoring Agency: Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)

Qualifications Required:

  • For Postgraduates (M.Tech):
    • At least one degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or a relevant area
  • For Graduates (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering):
    • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or a relevant area with a valid national-level test score (e.g., GATE, NET)

Job Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance and project funding)
  • Stipend: ₹45,000/month (Consolidated, including HRA and allowances)
  • Location: NIT Calicut, Kerala
