Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks and an excellent academic record.
- The candidate should have completed UG/PG in the relevant discipline with strong academic credentials.
- Candidates must possess excellent communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and guiding students is essential.
- A proven record of research is preferred.

The salary for each position is as follows, based on the pay levels:
- Principal Scientific Officer / Principal Technical Officer: Pay Level – 14
- Principal SAS Officer: Pay Level – 14
- Superintending Engineer: Pay Level – 13
- Deputy Registrar: Pay Level – 12
- Deputy Librarian: Pay Level – 12
- Assistant Registrar: Pay Level – 10
- Assistant Librarian: Pay Level – 10
- Medical Officer: Pay Level – 10
- SAS Officer: Pay Level – 10
- Executive Engineer (Civil): Pay Level – 10

How to Apply for Non-Teaching Faculty Jobs at NIT Karnataka:
Candidates are required to apply through the online portal with complete details. For applicants wishing to apply for more than one position, a separate application must be submitted for each post, along with a separate application fee.
- Ensure the eligibility criteria are met as of 10th February 2025, the last date for online submission.
- Candidates applying through deputation must submit a self-attested hard copy of the online application, accompanied by the following documents routed through the proper channel:
- Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2019-2020 to 2023-2024), attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- No Objection Certificate.
