Job Description

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Srikakulam invites candidates for teaching jobs on a contractual/part-time/day-to-day basis for the academic session 2025-26. A walk-in interview will be conducted to prepare a panel for teaching positions against likely vacancies.

Walk-in-Interview Details

• Date: 6th March 2025 (Thursday)
• Registration Time: 09:00 AM – 10:30 AM
• Venue: PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Srikakulam, NH-16, Near Eenadu, Srikakulam – 532401, Andhra Pradesh

Candidates should bring the following:

• Original certificates
• One set of self-attested copies of certificates
• Passport-size photograph

Vacant Teaching Positions & Eligibility

1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Subjects: English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Eligibility:

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university
• B.Ed. degree

2. PGT – Computer Science

Eligibility:

• B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) / B.E/B.Tech with PGDCA / M.Sc. (Comp. Sc) / MCA
• B.Sc. (Comp. Sc)/BCA with any PG / Any PG with PGDCA (50% marks required)

3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Subjects: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Mathematics
Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university
• B.Ed. degree
• CTET qualified (conducted by CBSE)

4. Computer Instructor

Eligibility:

• B.E./B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. (Computers) / M.Sc. (Computers) / MCA
• Degree in any Science subject with a PGDCA from a recognized university

5. Primary Teacher (PRT)

Eligibility:

• 50% marks in Intermediate/Degree
• JBT/TTC/B.Ed./D.Ed. qualification
• CTET qualified

6. Balvatika Teacher

Eligibility:

• Senior Secondary (Class XII) with at least 50% marks
• Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed) (Minimum 2 years)
• B.Ed (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution

7. Counsellor

Eligibility:

• BA/B.Sc. (Psychology) with a Certificate or Diploma in Counselling
• Desirable: Minimum one year experience in student career/educational counselling

8. Nurse

Eligibility:

• GNM with experience and registered in the Nursing Council OR
• B.Sc. Nursing

9. Yoga Instructor

Eligibility:

• Graduate in any subject from a recognized university
• One-year training in Yoga from a recognized institution

10. Sports Coach

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent

11. Art & Craft Coach

Eligibility:

• Expert certificate in the specific field from a recognized institution like Shramik Vidyapeeth

12. Music Coach

Eligibility:

• Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks OR Intermediate with 50% marks
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumental Music or equivalent from a recognized university

13. Special Educator

Eligibility:

• As per RCI guidelines

Desirable Qualification for All Posts

• Proficiency in Hindi and English
• Knowledge of Computer Applications in Teaching
