Qualifications
For Engineering Departments
Professor:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- First-class or equivalent in Bachelor’s or Master’s.
- At least 6 research publications (SCI/SCIE/UGC/AICTE approved).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 3 years as an Associate Professor.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- First-class or equivalent in Bachelor’s or Master’s.
- At least 6 research publications (SCI/SCIE/UGC/AICTE approved).
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with 2 years post-Ph.D.
Assistant Professor:
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in a relevant branch.
- First-class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
For Humanities and Science Departments
Professor:
- Ph.D. in relevant/allied disciplines with 10 years of experience and significant contributions in the field.
Associate Professor:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks and Ph.D.
- 8 years of teaching or research experience.
Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET), UGC, or CSIR, or SLET/NET equivalent. Ph.D. candidates are exempted from this requirement.
For Admin Office Manager:
- First-class UG and PG in Administration, Arts, Commerce, Science, or Literature.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering college administration, with familiarity with AICTE and Anna University procedures.
For Lab Technician (EEE/Mechanical):
- Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Expected Qualities:
- Commitment to work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in serving the institute for at least two years.
