Teaching Faculty Recruitment at Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Bengaluru

About IIPM:

The Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, to modernize the plantation sector through management education and training. Founded in 1990, IIPM serves as a center of excellence and a think tank for the plantation sector, promoting industry-oriented management practices and providing intellectual resources. The institute focuses on education, training, and research within a model of intensive institute-industry interaction.

Job Title:

Professor (Regular/Contract)

Department:

Finance and Accounting

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant branch.
    • MBA with a specialization in Financial Management, with a consistent academic record of First Class.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Research or academic experience in Modern Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, including Commodity Derivatives.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Teaching and mentoring students in Post Graduate Programs, FPM (Ph.D) programs.
    • Contributing to Executive Education, Research, and Training Programs.
    • Assisting in establishing the Center of Excellence (CoE).

Candidate Profile:

  • UG/PG in the relevant field with strong academic records.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and guiding students.
  • Proven research record.

Job Location:

Bengaluru, Karnataka

Pay Scale:

Academic Pay Level 14: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,11,800 (Entry Pay: ₹1,44,200)
