Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College (PSVPEC), an autonomous institution, is inviting applications for teaching positions under its faculty recruitment drive. PSVPEC, promoted by the Prince Educational Society in 2001, has been committed to delivering excellence in education since its founding in 1978 by Dr. K. Vasudevan.

  • Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
  • Information Technology (IT)

Qualifications:

  • Professor:
    • Ph.D. with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (or both) in the relevant branch of Engineering/Technology
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, including at least 3 years in a post equivalent to Associate Professor
    • At least 6 research publications as an Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE-approved journals
    • Successfully guided at least 2 Ph.D. candidates
  • Associate Professor:
    • Ph.D. with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (or both) in the relevant branch of Engineering/Technology
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, including at least 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience
    • At least 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE-approved journals

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in securing research funding from government agencies
  • Experience in conducting international conferences, FDPs, and workshops
  • Ability to lead teams of teaching and non-teaching staff
  • Experience with NAAC and NBA accreditation processes
  • In-depth knowledge in the respective field, with a readiness to give a 15-minute presentation, if shortlisted
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
