Panjab University’s University Institute of Engineering & Technology (U.I.E.T.) invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview on 19th November 2024 at 10:00 AM for the recruitment of a Project Assistant (PA) in a DBT-sponsored research project. This is a promising opportunity for individuals with a background in Chemistry to gain hands-on experience in an innovative research project.

- Project Title: “Self-assembled Tyrosine Microstructures in PVA Film as Potential Alternative to Single-Use Plastic”
- Sponsoring Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Nishima
Position Overview
- Position: Project Assistant (PA)
- Type: Temporary, co-terminus with the project duration
- Salary: INR 20,000 per month + HRA, in accordance with DBT norms
Essential Qualifications
Candidates interested must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Requirement: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Experience: Prior research experience in self-assembly-related projects is essential.
