• Project Associate-I
• Project Associate-II

Project Title:

Development of a Smart Solar Photovoltaic System with encapsulated phase change material and artificial intelligence-based real-time condition monitoring.

Department:

Mechanical Engineering

Project Sponsor:

SERB-DST, Government of India, New Delhi

Project Duration:

• 3 years or completion of the project (whichever is earlier)
• Extension based on performance review every 12 months

Eligibility Criteria

For Project Associate-I:

• B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Design & Manufacturing, Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical & Polymer Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Technology, Instrumentation Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.

For Project Associate-II:

• B.Tech/B.E. in the fields listed above.
• 2 years of experience in R&D in industrial or academic institutions, or in Science & Technology organizations.

Candidate Profile:

• A UG/PG in the relevant discipline with excellent academic records.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for teaching, guiding students, and conducting research.
• Proven research track record.

Pay Scale:

• Project Associate-I:
  • ₹31,000 + HRA (with NET/GATE qualification or National level exam selection).
  • ₹25,000 + HRA (without the qualifications mentioned above).
• Project Associate-II:
  • ₹35,000 + HRA (with NET/GATE qualification or National level exam selection).
  • ₹28,000 + HRA (without the qualifications mentioned above).
• HRA as per institute norms if accommodation is not provided.
