Eligibility Criteria

For Medical Candidates (General & Super Speciality)

Common Educational Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by MCI/NMC.
• MD/MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate degree in the relevant specialty.
• DM/M.Ch. in superspecialities (as applicable).

Experience Requirements:

• Professor: 11–14 years of teaching/research experience post-MD/MS or DM/M.Ch.
• Additional Professor: 7–10 years of experience depending on qualifications.
• Associate Professor: 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Assistant Professor: Minimum 1–3 years of teaching/research experience.

For Non-Medical Candidates

Educational Requirements:

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
• Ph.D. from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements:

• Varies from 3 to 14 years based on the post applied.

Pay Scale

Direct Recruitment:

• Professor: ₹1,68,900/- (Level 14-A) + NPA
• Additional Professor: ₹1,48,200/- (Level 13-A2+) + NPA
• Associate Professor: ₹1,38,300/- (Level 13-A1+) + NPA
• Assistant Professor: ₹1,01,500/- (Level 12) + NPA (with provision to move to Level 13 after 3 years)

Contract Basis:

• Professor: ₹2,20,000/- p.m.
• Additional Professor: ₹2,00,000/- p.m.
• Associate Professor: ₹1,88,000/- p.m.

Important Notes

• Candidates working in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate.
• Only MCI/NMC/INI recognized teaching experience will be considered.
• Retired faculty from Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) at the level of Professor are also encouraged to apply.
