Job Details

  • Position: Research Associate
  • Employment Type: Temporary
  • Department: Plant Pathology Section, RARS, Jagtial
  • Location: Polasa, Jagtial, Telangana
  • Duration: Four (4) months or until a regular position is filled, whichever is earlier

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • M.Sc. in Plant Pathology OR
    • Ph.D. in Plant Pathology
  • Skills and Responsibilities:
    • Assist with experiment execution, including field data recording and compilation for yield trials
    • Maintain research records and provide technical assistance in disease diagnosis
    • Exhibit strong research skills, passion for guiding students, and effective communication skills

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A completed UG/PG in the relevant field with strong academic records
  • A commitment to teaching and mentoring students
  • A proven research record in the related field

Pay Scale

  • Rs. 40,000 for candidates with a postgraduate degree (PG) without HRA
  • Rs. 45,000 for candidates with both PG and Ph.D. without HRA
