Research Fellow Vacancy at BITS Pilani (Goa Campus)

BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus has announced Research Fellow Recruitment 2024 for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Associate. Eligible candidates aspiring to pursue a Ph.D. can apply through email or online.

Research Position: JRF/Project Associate (Project work leading to a Ph.D.)

  • Project Title: Integrity Assessment of Space Shells using Artificial Neural Networks.
  • Note: This position is for Ph.D. aspirants. Candidates must meet the Ph.D. eligibility criteria of BITS Pilani. Visit BITS Pilani Ph.D. Admissions for more details.
  • Ph.D. Registration: Selected candidates must register for Ph.D. as per BITS Pilani’s rules and regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • A strong academic record.
  • Expertise in: Strength of Materials, Finite Element Analysis, and programming (MATLAB/Python).
  • Preferred Qualification: Candidates with a GATE score.
  • Numerical studies and experiments are part of the project work.

Qualification Requirements

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • BE in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • M-Tech/MS/ME in Design, CAD, Manufacturing, or related domains.
    • ME in Structural Engineering.

Fellowship Details

  • For M-Tech Qualified Candidates: ₹37,000 – ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of Ph.D. and performance).
  • For BE/B-Tech Qualified Candidates: ₹34,000 – ₹37,000 per month.
