Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor

• A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
• Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or SET, or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (2009/2016 amendments).
• Ph.D. holders from foreign universities ranked in the top 500 (as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings) are exempt from NET/SET.

Professor

Eligibility (A or B)

A.

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at university/national level institutions.
• Successfully guided at least one doctoral candidate.

B.

• An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and 10 years of experience in academia/industry, contributing significantly to knowledge.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at an equivalent level.
• At least 7 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
• Minimum research score of 75 as per UGC regulations (2018).

Pay Scale

As per the 7th Pay Commission, subject to revision as per GoI/UGC norms.
