Available Positions
1. Professor
Departments:
- Anatomy
- Paediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Dermatology
- Ophthalmology
Qualification & Eligibility: As per NMC norms – MD/MS in relevant specialty with requisite teaching and research experience in recognized medical institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead academic, clinical, and research activities within the department.
- Supervise postgraduate and undergraduate students.
- Ensure high standards of medical education and clinical practice.
2. Associate Professor
Departments:
- Anatomy
- Microbiology
- Ophthalmology
Qualification & Eligibility: As per NMC norms – MD/MS in relevant discipline with minimum required teaching experience as Associate Professor/Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in departmental teaching and research programs.
- Conduct clinical training and examinations for medical students.
- Participate in curriculum development and institutional activities.
3. Assistant Professor
Departments:
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Pharmacology
- General Surgery
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Qualification & Eligibility: As per NMC norms – MD/MS in relevant specialty. Candidates must have completed recognized postgraduate training in the concerned subject.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to medical students.
- Contribute to departmental research and publications.
- Participate in clinical duties and mentoring programs.
Eligibility and Pay Scale
- Qualification & Experience: As per National Medical Commission (NMC) and Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) norms.
- Pay Scale: Commensurate with qualification and experience, as per SPU regulations.
- Preference: Candidates with prior teaching and clinical experience in recognized medical colleges.
