Job Description

Saurashtra University was established on 23rd May 1967 following a strong demand for a separate university by educationists and freedom fighters of the Saurashtra region. Initially headquartered in both Rajkot and Bhavnagar, it emerged from Gujarat University through the Saurashtra University Act (Gujarat Act No. 39 of 1965).

Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed
- Additional qualifications as per UGC norms
Pay Scale
- Professor: ₹1,44,200/-
- Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400/-
