Research Position:

Senior Research Fellow

• Project Title: Circular Food Processing: Harnessing Microwave and Extrusion Technology for Development of Nutrient-Dense Food and Feed Products from Agricultural and Livestock Residues.
• Funding Agency: Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India
• Department: Food Process Engineering

Essential Qualifications:

• M. Tech. in Food Process Engineering, Post Harvest Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Food Technology, or allied specializations.
• Minimum CGPA of 6.5/10.0 (or 60% aggregate) at both M.Tech and B.Tech levels.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Valid GATE/NET score in the relevant branch.

Job Description:

• Conduct research on microwave-assisted extruders and develop nutrient-dense food and feed products.
• Opportunity to register for a Ph.D. at NIT Rourkela as per norms.

Stipend:

Rs. 42,000 per month (for the first two years)
