Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC), University of Delhi, invites eligible candidates for Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator positions under the ICSSR-sponsored project titled “Ensuring Access to Inclusive and Holistic Education for Building Viksit Bharat: A Study of Students with Disability at Higher Education in Delhi NCR.”
Interviews will be conducted in person on the college premises as per the schedule below.
Interview Schedule:
- November 27, 2024 – Applicants for the post of Research Associate
- November 28, 2024 – Applicants for the post of Research Assistant
- November 29, 2024 – Applicants for the post of Field Investigator
- Reporting Time: 9:30 A.M. (on all days)
- Venue: Seminar Hall, SGGSCC
Eligibility Criteria and Remuneration:
| Post | Remuneration | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Research Associate | ₹47,000/month | Postgraduate in a relevant subject or Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks, and NET/M.Phil/Ph.D. along with two years of research experience. |
| Research Assistant | ₹37,000/month | Ph.D./M.Phil/Postgraduate in a relevant subject or Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. |
| Field Investigator | ₹20,000/month | Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. |
Additional Requirements:
Candidates applying for the posts of Research Associate and Research Assistant should have:
- Proficiency in econometric tools and software such as Excel, SPSS, Stata, etc.
- Strong analytical and academic writing skills.

- Eligibility Verification:
Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria (as per ICSSR guidelines) to qualify for the interview. Only eligible candidates will be considered. - Single Interview for Multiple Applications:
If applying for more than one position, candidates must attend only one interview, scheduled for the highest position applied for (e.g., Research Associate > Research Assistant > Field Investigator). - Candidates must report on time with all original documents for verification.
- No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
