Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women (University of Delhi) announces a Walk-In Interview for Guest Faculty (Assistant Professor) positions. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the interview as per the details below.

Job Title:

Guest Faculty (Assistant Professor)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The qualifications for Guest Faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for the appointment of regular Assistant Professors of Universities/Colleges in UGC regulations.

Honorarium:

  • The faculty would be paid an honorarium of ₹1500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month (as per UGC guidelines, letter No. F.25-1/2018(Pg/Misc.), dated 28.01.2019).

Special Instructions:

  1. The College/University teachers are permitted to take classes as Guest Faculty in another institute/college, provided that the allocation of additional classes to the concerned faculty is beyond their prescribed workload (vide Notification No. Estab T/Workload/2022/1883 dated 14.11.2022).
  2. A “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the current employer, confirming the faculty is not engaged beyond their prescribed workload, is required at the time of appointment.
  3. The said faculty shall be allowed to take up to 40 credit courses as Guest Faculty in a semester, but only in one institute/college other than their parent institute.
  4. Retired teachers may also be considered for appointment as Guest Faculty, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
  5. The number of posts may vary depending on the workload.
  6. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
